How is industrial design in nit rourkela?
If you have no specific interest in any subject, mass recruiters like tcs, ibm and infosys are the companies for you. (3 - 3.5 lpa)
If you have prepared for CAT and Analytics tests, target companies like Affine Analytics, ZS associates, Mu Sigma and a few other analytics companies. ( 4 - 6 lpa)
If you are really good at mechanical, you have a slight chance of cracking core mechanical companies like honda, 3dplm, thermax, etc ( I say slight chance because most of the time IDians are not allowed to sit for mecha companies because their curriculum is incomplete for mechanical profile) ( 4 - 7 lpa)
If you want to persue product design, the best option is to go for higher studies or do internships and learn practically important stuff, ID curriculm's theory are insufficient to crack Product design jobs.
If you are good at design and has a decent portfolio - newgen is the company for you, they hire ui/ux designers. They look for good sense for design and logical creativity in a candidate. ( 5 - 6 lpa)
If you want to persue career in UI/UX, you have a lot of offcampus scope. With a good portfolio and a good resume, your degree in design will aid you in landing good jobs. ( 4 - 12 lpa, it really depends on how well you sell your skills, studying in NIT has nothing to do with it)
