Hi

NIT jalandhar also known as Dr B.R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology is one of the best engineering college in india. Established in 1987 this government college total of 40 courses.

Information Technology is a very popular branch of modern engineering and is pursed by many students for easy placement in different companies and gives more or less rewarding salary.

Placement wise this college has a great reputation as number of IT companies like amazon, JPMC, oracle, samsung, adobe, Ion trading and many more visit this college to recruit students. Branches like CSE, IT ,ECE etc have 100% placements

The faculty of this college is great with many well educated teachers, who are very knowledgeable. They try to help students and provide both technical and practical knowledge. They try to make students understand a concept the way students find it easy to understand. Professors may sometimes get angry, but overall they are friendly and helpful

The college is packed with all kinds of facilities, anything a student can ask for. With college fests and a lot of other events students enjoy a great campus life.

Dear aspirant,

As due to the covid -19 all the colleges even the premier ones saw a dip in the average package of the placements. Still nit jalandhar was good if I consider good nits like kurukshetra which faced only 50% placements in the year 2020.

If I consider the IT branch placements. It is strong in its placements and the average package for the branch is around 11-12L per annum. Companies like microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, cognizant comes for campus recruitments.

As per the faculty is concerned it is a pretty decent one. As this is a government college so you can't expect them to be very good . Sometimes they would get angry for no reason but overall it is a decent faculty and you would have the full support.
