How is life at NLSIU, Bangalore?

Life at NLSIU is very pleasant and easy going.U can enjoy ur life easily along with the academics.

U have a great scope to get to know various things apart from the regular academics.

Usually the classes get over by 1:30,So u have a whole half day for urself where u can do whatever u feel like.

u can join in various clubs and chapters,MUN's,Debates,Moots etc...or u can just relax in ur room learning some other intrested stuff of urs.

Simply Life here depends on how efficiently u utilize the time....

Here I am going to talk about Undergraduate.

A day at NLSIU often depends on what your interests are. Normally, we have classes between 8:50 to 1:30pm. When it is project submission time, you will find people sitting in the library working 10-12 hours at a stretch preparing 3000-5000 word research papers on their topic.

On other days however, most people do their own thing. Whether it is sit in the library to read, go the gym, play a sport, debate, research for moots, get involved in organising events (moots, debates, MUNs, Client Counselling competition), legal aid or a research assistant-ship under some Research Centre like Centre for Child and Law, or CEERA. None of this is compulsory, people can also choose to chill - sit in their room, hang with their friends, watch TV shows or sit on Quora all day. But beyond a point, just chilling can get ridiculously boring so people end up doing stuff anyway. There are talks/Conferences/events/Credit Courses happening frequently - we can go for that as well. In my experience, juggling between all these things is one of the most important things you'll learn at NLSIU.
