How is lingaya's university rating and ranking for Btech? How is Placement and education ?

Placements
:
Not good
- A very few companies come for campus placements.
- The ones which do come, offer unrelated field of work or very meagre packages (as low as 1.5-2.5 LPA and so on)
- The college pushes you to take up any job which you can get, regardless of your stream/interests/skills - to increase the no of placements they can advertise to the next batch.
Reputation - for Post Graduation -
None

The University is unknown in majority of Universities in India and, of course, abroad.
- Very few students do get accepted in reputed Universities in India & abroad but Lingaya's University usually does not have any contribution to the outcome.
General quality of staff/teachers -
Poor
- Most teachers are Graduates from average colleges with no specialisations.
- Book learning is a commonly encouraged practice.
- Practical classes hardly happen & when they do happen no 'practical' knowledge is imparted which, in my opinion, could be the only reason you may decide not to join this college.

Thanks Raushan! I believe ealier it was under IP University and doing better, may be that was due to IP umbrela
