Manufacturing is the filed of engineering that deals with the different practices of manufacturing i.e the research and development of tools, processes, machines, and types of equipment. Manufacturing engineers usually develop those skills that span many engineering disciplines with the eye focusing on their expertise in the manufacturing process. Manufacturing Science and Engineering is the branch of engineering that focuses on the capability to plan how manufacturing takes place, to research and develop tools, and processes. The students pursuing this course get an understanding of how mechanical components interact. The core curriculum of Manufacturing Science and Engineering mainly deals with mechanical engineering and the basics of industrial engineering.

The manufacturing Science and engineering Btech undergraduate course at COEP ( College of Engineering Pune) is a full time 4 years course with a fee structure of Rs.3.39 lakhs for general category ,Rs. 16.05K for SC , Rs.16.05 K for ST and Rs. 1.75 lakhs for OBC .
