how is mba from shiv nadar university if one wants to become enterpruner
- The MBA Program designed at Shiv Nadar University is a perfect blend of getting trained by top industry professionals and renowned academicians. This makes our class discussions go beyond the cases and we try to gain knowledge from the experiences of the instructor, like Prof Pradeep Mehra talking about his journey in becoming a CEO to Dr. Paromita Goswami demonstrating the essential things that are required by the marketers to understand the consumer. The University has Atal Incubation centre as well and offers some numerous options of electives on entrepreneurship as well. The faculties are helpful in guiding students in their entrepreneurial journey.
Well in order to become an entrepreneur you don't need any institute but if you want to go there then aim for high like iim or iit. They are brilliant. Here is the information about shiv nadar university (SNU)
Admissions:
The best thing I found about the admission process of Shiv Nadar University is that they don't just consider your mains marks or boards score for selection and/or decision of your branch of study.
Everything is kept in mind along with your SNUSAT,APT and your SOP.You might ask how this is better.
I'll tell you why i think it is. Your future henceforth shouldn't be decided based on one exam, and SNU understands that. Even if you feel you messed up your mains/boards,you still have a chance to redeem yourselfwith their entrance test and your SOP(so write it wholeheartedly).
The SNUSAT and APT is also a testament to this as the syllabus isonlywhat you've been taught till 12th. Together they test you on multiple things and judge you overall.
Also there is no management quota, every person who gets in, deserves to. This also provides an exemplary environment for social interaction.
Academics:
I feel academics here is taken very seriously. The faculty put in a lot of work and effort in teaching and especially in the setting of exams. The grading and syllabus is set in such a way that it ensuresthat you do not slack off.
You've written that you're interested in CSE, so I'm mentioning the SNU ACM student chapter that holds regular events including coding competitions. A few students have also participated in GSoC successfully.
The environment at SNU is also very study friendly, most utilise the opportunies given to them. The library is a brilliant place to study and stays almost full during the days of exams.
Cheers !!
You need to re consider your option and plan for Top 30 B school through that you would get better opportunities and knowledge for Entrepreneurship and Top B school having Incubator facilities for your idea into business module.
All the Best
