PEC University of Technology (Punjab Engineering College University of Technology) is one the pioneer engineering college in Punjab. The institute became Deemed University in 2003 through a MHRD notification and rechristened as PEC University of Technology in 2009. 

Placements are relatively good.The average package offered is 3.5 Lakhs p.a and highest package is 17 lakhs p.a.There are also many internship opportunities given to students. The average package for CSE branch is 6 -7 lakhs p.a.

And talking about the campus life ,the cultural fests are also too good.PEC organises one of the biggest cultural and technical fests in North India with famous celebrities.
