Sri Balaji Society, Pune (Best B-School In Pune) is ‘Special’ in the way that it sees its students not as ‘students’ but as ‘Future Corporate Leaders’. The society teaches them how to manage and profit from the most valuable resource there is - ‘Time management’ so that they can hone their skills for their own benefit in the future.Classes are held round-the-clock, from morning till the evening on all days (sundays and holidays) and attendance is compulsory for all the classes and other non-class leadership development, personal development, guest lectures and corporate interactions where the students are addressed by the who’s who from the corporate world and the industry. Many may claim that the society is like a ‘mini North Korea’, however it is to be noted that the corporate world is no ‘bed of roses’ either as only the best can survive and thrive there. Truly it is said that the best steel is forged in the hottest furnace. Majority of the alumni swear by the ‘training’ given to them in the society as it has helped them to weather, thrive and gain from their work in the corporate world.Apart from training its student in the management sciences, the society offers SAP Training (http://www.sribalajisocietypune....) to its students and prepares them to be certified as ‘Certified SAP and Certified Global SAP professionals’, improving their ‘employability’ increasing their chances for securing employment in all major countries, apart from India in the world. On comparison with the course structure (Six modules of SAP training given in 200 hours of online course in the SAP live server) one will find that the same is given to the students at nominal prices, giving one a tremendous gain and benefit in terms of ROI when one compares the per module price being Rs. 2,50,000 if the same was taken in any other SAP education course provider.Wirh reference to ‘Placements’ the numbers are good (http://www.sribalajisocietypune....) as student can expect to recieve anything between 05 to 07 Lakh Rupees package offers by the companies visiting the campus for placements. Of late prestigious companies such as Amazon, Vedanta Resources, Colgate Palmolive are visiting the campus and are offering package offers above 14 Lakh Rupees to eligible students in its campus processes.4.8k Views · View Upvoters You upvoted this Upvote· 910 Share Comment...RecommendedAll Sponsored by UpGrad.com Become an AI engineer with PG program from IIIT Bangalore.36% average salary hike, 360 degree career support and IIIT Bangalore alumni status.Learn More RSGoodSponsored by Meesho Get meesho for your secondary source of income.Earn up to Rs. 25,000 per month as a secondary source income with meesho. If not, it doesn't matter which college you are opting in as SBS(Sri Balaji Society) has common placement process. Students of all 4 colleges will get opportunities to sit for the companies coming to campus unless they are coming exclusively for Telecom students(BITM) or HR students (BIMM and BIMHRD).Reason for choosing BIMM over others is because BIMM is the flagship college of society and there are some big names who only recruit from BIMM.I preferred talking about placements as that is the reason behind choosing a college for most of the people.About education, you will get best of the faculties as some of them are permanent associated with SBS while some are as guest lecturers. Every college on their own organizes seminars by calling eminent speakers and industry related experts and believe me, these seminars are always helpful before moving to corporate industry.I hope I have give answers to your question and in my opinion you should go for SBS.7.2k Views · View Upvoters Your feedback is private. Let me tell you frankly it is like a Mini North Korea in Pune. They have a Supreme Leader and his counterparts/commanders who can make arbitrary decisions at any point of time. Hope you understand the whole administration by the comparison.Secondly, they are agent of political parties who send their students for promotions of political parties in the name of “market survey” and put their life in danger. The name of the institute has become synonymous with discipline. My friends who study at Sri Balaji tell me that

Only the colleges which recruit through MAH-CET exams has a fixed percentage of seats for Maharashtrian (60-85%) and for non-Maharashtrian, the no. of seats available is fairly less. So cut-off for them is high. But it is not true with all the MBA colleges in Mumbai. Other colleges like IIT Mumbai, S.P. Jain, Narsee Monjee etc. which are top colleges give admission through CAT and NMAT which is fully open to all the students.
Some of the best colleges which accept MAT score for admission are:
- Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra
- Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore
- National Institute of Technology Warangal
- Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad
- Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education, Mumbai
- PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore
- Amity Business School, Noida
- Alliance School of Business, Bangalore
- Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow
- SCMS Cochin School of Business, Cochin
- IIT Madras
All the best!!
