We attract some of the excellent students and faculty. The department of Computer Science imparts international level training and research. The department provides high standard computing facilities to the students. It also promotes active industry-department affiliation by finding common areas of interest and taking part in research projects and consultancy services.

Our research exists in the areas of systems, software, networking, databases, security, and foundations of computer science, artificial intelligence, robotics, and scientific computing. Besides basic research, interdisciplinary work on applications that stimulate basic research has been undertaken under the department of CSE. SRM Sonepat was established five years ago.

So till now, placements are not upto the mark.till now they are pretty average .highest placement record till now is around 4-5 lacs. Placement cell is also not so useful. But placement ratio is slowly improving there is no industry exposure.

Teachers are good and supportive and teaching methods are designed in a way that even below average students can understand properly.

So till now placement records are not so good but it is expected to go up in coming years. Faculty is good but few teachers are not good.

But college is improving slowly and needs time to settle properly.
