SVIT is very good for computer & IT.If you are planning to choose the college around Baroda region, then this would be great choice after MS University, for specially computer & IT field Because of myriad of reasons. The foremost one is Placement. Placement ratio of computer dept. is very good in svit & Every year, ample of local companies as well as MNC come for the recruitment in these field. Apart from this, level of teaching is also good & even Faculties are also very supportive( My personal experience). however, there are few drawbacks such as 75% attendance, totally outdated syllabus, more theoretical approach than the practicals but this scenario can be seen in every GTU affiliated college. Overall, SVIT is very good choice for the computer & IT department in all aspects
