Talking about the placements for electronics and instrumentation engineering department , the placements are just mediocre. About 65% of the students get placed with an average package of 3 to 4 lacs per annum .However the placements for this improving every  year .Also ,institute is promising 80-90% placements for this branch as well. But it seems hard for the next two years at least.

But if we talk about faculty for this branch , then the faculty is so supportive and experienced.

BIT is a very good college with a lot of things to provide to the young and aspiring minds. Furthermore, Bangalore being an IT and tech-sector it might be difficult for you to grab a job in Bangalore, unless you get selected by a mass recruiter. The placement package although is nearly similar for all the branches being 3-4 lacs per annum. However, there is a lot of scope for people with hardware degree such as this one, outside Bangalore.
