How is the career prospects in ship architecture & ocean engineering? How is the placement from CUSAT in 2017 & 2018.
Marine engineering is about operation of ship while the other trade is regarding design , construction maintenance and other aspects of ship and any floating bodies : offshore structures; TLPs , Gravity structures ,Spar etc. Naval architecture is so vast compared to marine engineering. Naval architecture and marine engineering aren't brothers ,but they are cousins. Even many young marine engineers doesn't know much about naval architecture. Generally, people believe that naval architecture is all about structures. It ain't like that. Naval architecture is a hybrid branch of Engineering where we draw skills from all other branches of Engineering.
