To know whether a college is good or bad,  you need to have an experience studying there. Since you have only read about the negativities, let's see the positive side of the college.

According to my opinion, the teaching must be immense as many eminent academicians and scientists visit the college to give away lectures. An observation internship program is also held. The faculty members of your department are members of National and International Committees. Also,  there is the MAANAS counselling centre which holds aptitude tests, career counselling and also personal counselling. You will have a research centre at gour disposal too.

A college good for one student may prove to be hectic for another. So I would recommend you to choose you decision carefully.
