basically in the hostels you have a LOT of company. The hostel is is very vibrant with multiple clubs, (live) music playing in some room or the other, study groups and all types of people living under 1 (well, 8) roof(s). It’s a lot of fun to go out at night and roam around the campus and come back at night in your hostel room and crash to sleep! Each wing has a very different flavour in DA, and you can find the one that suits you best easily, but I will honestly encourage mixing with everyone and not going home every weekend. There’s a LOT to miss out on in terms of lifelong friends, constant learning and infinite memories if you skip the DA hostel.
