How is the IBS gurgaon college for mba??

It's neither best nor worst option available. Hostel facility is not available in the institute but it claims that campus administration will assist the students in getting a suitable off campus accommodation near by the campus. A student of Batch 2014 says " Not too good not too bad just Decent college. The classrooms are fully air condition with all modern facilities which most B-schools have." By the way whether it is good or bad the answer of this depends on the student and his/her capability of in-cashing on the opportunities being presented to them. So, If you are ready to work hard and learn the things being taught and reap maximum benefits and then obviously it could be an option worth considering. 100% placement is being claimed with an average CTC of 6.01 Lacs Final Placement data (Class 2018) All Campuses .

Even most vocal critic who advised, " Consider other options or drop a year rather " Says "The placement scenario is terrible. most of the placements are commission based offers. where your salary would be 3-4 p.a and rest would be variable income... Most companies offer sales job... Good companies do come during campus placement.. but they take one or two guys from the bunch." It means the institute is worth giving a shot but for that you also need to work on yourself and prepare yourself in order to be job-ready.

It depends on what you are seeking from academic course however The faculty is well educated and trained. The course is updated every now and then. Also, there are guest lectures from the biggies of industry which gives students a practical angle on what they will be up to in the market after getting out of college.
