When it comes to major biotechnology organizations (like Biocon), there aren't many positions of that nature. However, if you keep up a strong GPA, you'll qualify for mass hiring (consultancy posts, etc.) from organisations like Infosys or TCS and can get a few years of work experience before going for graduate school.
I will note, though, that finding a well-paying technical employment in India is difficult for a biotechnology bachelor. The majority of VIT undergrads pursue a Master's or direct Ph.D. after their B.Tech. to enter the academic field.
