Kongu Engineering college is very good in case of placements. The overall placement status for mechanical engineering students is around 90% and the average package goes around 4 lakh per annum. For Mechanical Engineering department, around 47 core mechanical companies visits the campus and 27 other non-core companies like WIPRO and Infosys visit the campus every year.
