how is the placement in engineering colleges being done to just few students inspite of a number of students studying there

Hello,

So, as of my Knowledge there is a minimum CGPA that the students need to maintain to be eligible for placements on campus. Now, the minimum CGPA differs for all the colleges but it is more or less the same. Hence, the student should not have backlogs or anything that hampers their eligibility for placements. And that is something in my opinion which creates the difference between number of student studying and the number of students who are actually able to sit for placements.
