For mechanical engg, the major recruiters are L&T, Kirloskar, Amaron, Mahindra, Ford, Nissan, Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, etc.
You can think of joining SRM University if you are not able to qualify for Top IITs and NITs and a few other institutions.
