The placements at Jadavpur University for chemical engineering is very good. Even the placements are better when compared to some IIT for chemical engineering. In the batch 2018 all the students were placed in the batch of 60. More than 55 students land in a job with a job offer of 10 lakh per annum package. More than 33 students got double job offer in chemical engineering. Companies come for placements are Cairn India, Berger Paints, Fluor Daniel, UOP Honeywell, Haldia Petrochemical, Axens, ITC, BPCL and the placement package ranges from 6lpa-17lpa for core companies. Other than these, Vedanta Resources (8-9 lpa), Reliance chemical industries (6lpa), ZS Associates (8-10 lpa), Thermax(7lpa),HPL(6lpa),Hindustan Unilever (8lpa).

Jadavpur University, Kolkata is known for its PLACEMENTS.

The Return of Investment is Massive because the fee is minimal and the Placements are huge.

According to the stats of 2018, 88.57% of Chemical Branch students got placed.

The Average Package for the Chemical branch was 5.92 LPA.

The Highest Package was 17.20 LPA.

The Total Fee is less than 20,000 and you can grab a decent placement.
