How is the placement of polymer science in Calcutta University ?

Last year 33 Students out of 35 were placed .
Companies like Ceat tyres /apollo tyres /DuPont / Reliance Rubber division etc came…
Mostly rubber and tyre companies…that hire polymer engineers.
I have no idea about how many got into TCS from the Polymer dept…
However. Out of 550 students in the entire campus.
60 went for TCS…but the exact number from each dept is not mentioned ….
It generally is somewhere around 10–12…
A minimum of 20 students out of 35 got Non IT decent jobs in Rubber and tyre industries that I just mentioned .
