How is the placement status of civil engineering in jadavpur university?

Placements and job opportunities are very good average package of the campus is almost 5 lakh per annum across 16 departments of is the highest is of Computer Science and Engineering department which is almost 19 lakh per annum that's a very striking figure. Test for internship, various interviews are taken in the third year. Recently one of my seniors is selected for internship in TATA STEEL . Many reputed companies like Goldman Sachs, Tata Steel, L&T , Adobe, etc come here for interviews for placements and internship. For internship stipend varies across companies. Civil engineering Is Good In College with Highest Package Of 27 Lakhs.

About Placements: Majority of the students have been placed at the campusing, safely around 65-70% . The percentage of internships is also quite high. Around 80-90% people have received internships from the college. There isn't that much of a placement cell, however the union does help in these matters. Placements wise it is a good college to persue your civil engineering.
