how is the rank list prepared for postgraduate entrance exams? Will the marks obtained in UG also be included?

Hello,

Generally if the admission is being done through entrance test, then rank list is prepared based on the marks/scores obtained in the conducted test, the importance of UG scores/aggregate comes to fore mostly for fulfilling the eligibility criteria, however if there is tie in the prepared merit list of entrance test, then chances are there that scores of UG will be given preference in breaking the tie and choosing the desired candidate accordingly, this is in general picture which I've provided you, if  your query is regarding any specific course or university for that matter, you can mention the details in the comment box below so that we can help you with more detailed information for the same.
