Biomedical science course provides students with an intellectually stimulating education in human physiology, pathology, cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology and immune-biology. The course has been designed so that students first acquire an integrated understanding of biomedical science that allows them to shape their subsequent studies towards the topics that interest them the most.

The emphasis is demonstrated by the opportunity for all students to obtain first-hand experience of laboratory research in the later stages of the course. The Department has a dedicated and highly qualified team of faculty, the most respected is Dr.Uma Dhawan, who offer quality education to the students as per the academic scheme of University of Delhi. Students are also benefitted by Invited Lectures of Scientists of repute that are organized from time to time. Various Workshops, Hands-on-Trainings, Conferences are also arranged to build a strong foundation of students to pursue academic research.
