Hey Pranjal , Greetings!
I am from UIET Kurukshetra University 2015 B.Tech CSE batch, and I will try to give you an answer as close to reality as possible, avoiding making ignorant comments about companies of other trades which I have no Idea about, just to take out my frustration against the college for the reasons unknown. Enough sarcasm, now let me get to the point.
Starting 2015 batch, Infosys signed MoU with UIET, KU, which means it will be coming every year.
Wipro also did the same starting 2016 batch.
Asahi India Glass has been also conducting placements for the last 2 years (this year they did not come to campus though, called the students in the company for placements.)
Kalindee Rail Nirmaan also conducted placements in 2015, and gave a hefty package, and other companies also visited the campus as mentioned by others.
I don’t think I should give credit to college, for people being selected in Off Campus drives of HP, SAP Labs, CSC, L&T InfoTech, Aricent, TCS, Tech Mahindra etc, as it has nothing to do with college. But one thing I will mention that this college was doing good for 2016 batch placements also, which apparently was the time in which colleges we used to visit for off campus drives were also starving for placement drives.
But one can never be sure that if college is doing fair now, it will continue to do so in the future as management involves frequent changes.
Edit: I will also like to point out that whatever work a companies gives, you can not blame the college management for you getting a non technical profile. People who have industrial experience know that everything is tied to “Business Requirements” of the employer. Source: https://www.quora.com/How-good-are-the-UIET-Kurukshetra-University-placements
Hope this will help . Good Luck ! You can reply to this comment if you have any further queries , I will be happy to help .
