My opinion and review of my college i.e. UWSB
Placements:Since I am in my first year, I can't really say much but previous placement reports have been great. I hope that we get great placements as well. Since top companies like Colgate, Sony, Britannia, Keventer, ITC, etc. come for placements, we can assume that our college has great tie-ups and amazing prospects when it comes to future placements.
Infrastructure:Not up to the mark. We don't really have a campus and would love it if we had a big campus of our own. The corridors start and end in just a loop. As students, we need better infrastructure in order to have a sense of freedom. No PG or student facilities are provided either which is a big disappointment as many students come from the outskirts of Kolkata and even outside of West Bengal and find it difficult to find a good place to stay.
Faculty:The faculty team is great with a mix of different kind of teachers from all around India and even France. The faculty team is highly educated and provide us with a lot of amazing knowledge in and outside of the books. The curriculum of P.G.P.M is interesting as it has more practical than theoretical aspects. We get to make a lot of presentations, assignments, projects and get groomed on a daily basis, helping us sharpen our communication and soft skills.
