The University of petroleum and energy studies (UPES) is one of the best college for petroleum engineer. UPES was established in 2003 and it's motto is "university with purpose".

The UPES is the India's first public-private university and  the location of this university is awesome it is connected with popular tourist destinations such as Mussoorie, nainital and hindu holy places Chardham.

I again say for petroleum engineer UPES is India's best college.

According to my opinion UPES DEHRADUN is good college for Petroleum Engineering but it not the best college.You should also try other engineering college for Petroleum engineering which is better than UPES.Facilities and professors are good in UPES but placement is not so good at all.
