Hi Candidate,
I personally feel that there is no difference between NITs and IITs. Both are institutes of national importance. These two institutes are better than most other institutes in the country and provide many resources to develop skills and also opportunities to work after graduating.
If you still want to go for some major difference, IITians have an edge in job opportunities over NITians in terms of higher Brand Value of IITs, which might help them to get a preference over other candidates in such cases.
Hope that this answer helps you.
Hi Aspirant,
In this day and age, your future is pretty much in your hands. Companies are leaning increasingly toward skill and ability rather than the name of the college you graduated from. Yes, it is true that students from top colleges have a bit more exposure to companies but that doesn't hinder the abilities of others to have a bright future. And anyway, when you 're talking about top-tier colleges such as the NITs and the IITs, the difference is not really noticeable in terms of exposure to jobs.
