Dear student,

Yes. You heard about Dam certificate reservation in Maharashtra is there but it according to marks and category wise.The benefit is that the marks you need to score is less than few of the categories and there is a reservation for the same. And if your score is around 500 in NEET UG there are chances for you to get a government seat for MBBS in Maharashtra.

And Yes, there is a chance to get the admission in government college with 489 rank and as you said that that you have the dam affected certificate so you'll get the benefit of that also in your admission process. But the cut off varies upon various factors and that's why they are different in every year.
