After passing MBBS that is obtaining 5 years bachelor degree in medicine and surgery you have to see for the all India national entrance examination test for post graduation. There you have to select the subjects of surgery for your post graduation. Completing the two years Masters in surgery you can become a surgeon. Thank you. good luck.
