Dear aspirant..

Hope you are doing well. To make notes keep some points in your mind. Follow the tips

  • F or Biology, write only those points in your notes which you find are forgetful . For instance, I always used to forget the stored food of various algae, so I just wrote that one point in my entire notes of Biological Classification. Add all the miscellaneous points and lines of the NCERT to your notes.
  • Don't prepare notes just after starting off with a chapter. The very first thing students should keep in their mind is that don't make revision notes simultaneously after studying the chapter for the first or second time. This is the thing where most aspirants go wrong. Go through each and every NEET 2022 important topic of that chapter at least four to five times, so that it is easy to know what is actually important and what is not. Because it is the last phase and hard work requires time here smart work will make the difference.

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. You can make biology notes effective in many ways somewhat are given below:-

Use your own words

Notes are of less importance if they are written in the exact textbook language without any simplification. It is important that you eliminate the extra and repetitive topics and focus on crucial topics and content. Also, avoid the complex language and try to use simpler terms as far as possible. You must write your notes in a language that you would easily understand. Many people have the habit of using a friends notes, but it is always advised to write your own notes as it is simpler to understand during revision.

Use multi colored pens

You can dedicate a color to everything in your notes. For example, Green can be used for main headings and sub headings. Red can be used to mark the topic as important. Highlight the keywords of a pointer using yellow highlighter in every sentence. This helps you remember the entire pointer with the help of just keywords.

Use abbreviations wherever possible

It is very difficult to remember the entire syllabus without shortcuts and abbreviations. Try to make code words or abbreviations so that you can relate to them and remember them well. For example, the sentence My Very Educated Mother Just Showed Us Nine Planets is still used to remember all 9 planets along with their position in our solar system.

Note your doubts

It is very likely that you may have several doubts during self-study. Dont let these doubts stop you or hinder your study time. Instead, make a note or circle these topics. Get these doubts cleared by your teacher, tutor or friend at the next opportunity.

Revising your notes

It is not sufficient to just prepare notes without memorizing and understanding them. Make sure you keep revising your notes as you study and not wait until you have prepared notes for the entire syllabus. Ideally, you should revise all your notes every week to keep a good pace.

Hope you find this information beneficial for you.

Good luck!
