Hello,

The number of students who take the AIL LET exam is quite variable. However, based on a rough figure, expect approximately 3000–4000 students from all across India to compete for 80 seats. Some of them might have securd place in other institute also.

The seat matrix is as given below

  • Seats for Wards of Army Personnel - 60 Seats
  • Seats for All India General Category - 04 Seats
  • Seats for Punjab Residents Civil Category - 16 Seats

Written tests for 64 seats (60 seats for Army personnel's wards + 04 seats for the All India General Category) will be conducted.

As per the Punjab Residents Civil Category Notification, admission for 16 seats will be based on the merit of the 10+2 Examination through counselling by Punjabi University Patiala.

Hope it helped

Thank you
