There is no limit to the attempts for GATE ( Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering ) exam . The scores of an attempted exams are valid for the next three years from the date that results are out .

It depends upon you on how many attempts can you make for GATE. The age limit criteria totally depends from institution to institution .
