Hy Gaurav There are two attempts of JEE MAINS one in January and other one in April . If you want to give both the exams then your best score out of both will be considered and will be considered for evaluation and at that basis you will be given ranks and colleges. If you want to give any one attempt then you can give too and your that score will be considered too. If you will drop then there will be 4 chances and you can give the paper.
