Hi,
It all depends on your audience, the field you're in, and your revenue strategy. You should probably plan to publish about three blog posts per week , minimum, to make money as a blogger.
Ask yourself a few questions. First, do you like to write? Are you good at it? Is writing your blog the best, most productive use of your time? For most busy executives, blogging just isn't a priority. And freelance bloggers — even those with industry experience and good credentials — — are less expensive than contractors for many other roles, such as coders or CPAs.
You can try out a few freelancers to find a style of working that's compatible with your own, and one who can achieve the tone you want your blog to present. You can work completely hands off or collaboratively. For example, I conduct interviews with one of my clients for each blog post. In just a few minutes, we get some key thoughts and a rough outline of the post written down. One advantage of this model is that you are getting basic ideas and copy together that can be repurposed in case studies, white papers, web content and so on. Establishing a good working relationship can make a big difference in the end result. However, it's likely a more efficient use of your time to hire a freelance writer.
Hope this helps.
