It depends from year-to-year. Last year, about 17000 to 18000 students filled the form, and about 13000 appeared for the exam. The numbers tend to stay the same or increase by a little each year. The 5 year BA LLB programme has 60 seats.

Additionally, keep in mind that if you are under the general category, you must pass 12th standard and should have a minimum of 50% in your 12th standard board examinations.
If you are under the OBC category, you are required to pass 12th standard and should have minimum percent of 45% in your 12th standard board examination.
If you are under the SC/ST category, you are required to pass12th standard and should have minimum percent of 40% in your12th standard board examination.
