The primary component that brings uncertainty in the dual degree is PhD. Since during PhD you are supposed to produce a novel work with good amount of positive impact on the ongoing research in the field, this component is what makes the duration unpredictable.

Course Duration:Usually the course duration is of 2+3 years but it may be increased as the time duration for Phd is not well defined and vary from college to college or research area.



Financial Assist ship:Candidate admitted to full time course through gate will get Rs 8,000 /- per month during M.Tech and Rs 18000/- per month during Phd as scholarship.(The amount of scholarship may differ).
