Master in Business Management in Marketing (MBA-M) is a 2 year under-graduate program in the field of Marketing Management. MBA courses are approved by various universities which act under the University Grants Commission (UGC) Acts.

Admission Process of taking admission in MBA:
Each college or university has different process of selecting students. The various selection procedure and exams for taking admission in MBA are:
-CAT: Common Aptitude Test is an all India level Entrance Examination conducted each year and the students studying in reputed management institutes like IIM are selected through this exam only.
Beside IIMs, there are around hundreds of college in which you can get admission through CAT exam. However, there are many colleges who are not the list but they provide admission on the basis of score in CAT.
2. MAT: Management Aptitude Test is another Management Entrance Test which is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). for taking admission for MBA in India. After clearing MAT, you will be able to take admission in all the best management institutes at different locations in India.
3. XAT: Xavier's Aptitude Test is conducted by Xavier's Institute of Management to select students for MBA courses. Once you clear XAT, you will be able to take admission in Xavier's Institute of Management, Jamshedpur. As the selection is done on the basis of marks achieved in XAT, so if more students have got more marks, then the candidates with less marks than that will not be eligible to take admission.
4. University and College Entrance Examination: There are many colleges and universities which independently conduct their own entrance examination for MBA courses. There is no common syllabus for these examinations. Each entrance exam of college/university will have its own syllabus available on the website.
