The State PMTs which were held earlier are no longer a thing. So there are the following entrance exams being taken every year:

1. NEET (May)

2. AIMS (Somewhere between them )

3. JIPMER (June)

Previously there used to be various entrance examinations for many prestigious medical institutes in the country. However all of them now hold a common entrance exam called NEET - standing for National Entrance & Eligibility Test. AIIMS ( Standing for All India Institute of Medical Sciences) which has a Delhi Central Campus and few other branches and JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research) are the two institutes holding separate examinations. AIIMS is usually held on first sunday of June or Last sunday of May. JIPMER is usually held in last week of June

There are only three exams NEET, AIIMS MBBS, JIMPMER MBBS which a medical aspirant can give.NEET is considered in all Govt and private colleges whereas through AIIMS you can only get AIIMS campuses and if you clear JIPMER then you can only take admission in its campuses. Also, they all are not inter connected from each other in any way and they all take place once in a year also there is no particular dates out for the exams but these will be held in the month of May-June only. So you can apply for the same according to your interest and potential and stay tuned with the below provided website to know all related updates -'
