Dear Reader,
For getting into IIT you just need to write 2 exams which is JEE mains and JEE advanced. \You have to appear in JEE mains just after you appear in your 12th board exams. Basic criteria for that is to score 75% in you 12th then you'll be allowed to sit in JEE mains. If you clear your cut off which is different for all categories/castes then you'll be eligible to sit in JEE advanced and same happens in JEE advanced. You need to score good in order to get a good IIT according to your all india rank.
To get an IIT is a tough task and cracking jee Advance is also one of the most hardest exam in India.
You have to prepare smartly and hard efficiently.
Better to check the NTA site to get the accurate details.
Hope it helps!
Hii! IITs are the most prestigious engineering colleges in India. For B.Tech or Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech, you need to appear and clear the cutoffs of JEE Mains exam. Then appear for JEE Advanced and again achieve a good rank in to get a seat. There are a few other exams that can get you in there. For M.Tech you can apply through GATE exam. For research, you have to clear the JAM exam. Hope it helps. Good day.
