Girls opting for Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics are very low when compared to that of other departments! But, nowadays there is a slight increase in the graph. From my personal experience, girls opting for these Course is quite a good option, for few reasons. First, you'll have good exposure in all aspects as you'll be given good attention when number of girls are less. Second, the job opportunities for girls in these Courses are high when compared to that of boys. Mostly girls will be taken predominantly in design fields and you have great chances in that if you develop the skills. So, it's a wise choice to opt Mechatronics!
