Hello Aspirant,

It doesn't matter how many hour you study, It matters only the time you are giving to study should be with quality.

Here are Some of the Preparation tips given below, You can follow-

Know your Syllabus Well : It is essential that you know what topics you have to cover for the examination. Board exams cover only 12th standard syllabus whereas JEE Main covers both 11th and 12th standard syllabus. Therefore, you should know what topics and subjects are likely to appear for the examinations.

Create a Time Table : Divide your syllabus and allot specific timings per day for a subject. The timings should be devided in such a way that at least some topics of each subject are covered per day. Since JEE Main also consists of the 11th standard syllabus, make some time in the evening or morning for the topics related to the 11th standard. Timetables will help you stay on track to complete the syllabus.

Develop your Daily Targets : Make your daily targets in such a way that the entire syllabus will be completed well before time so that enough days are left for revision. The main focus should be on completing 12th standard syllabus for the board examinations.  it is advised that some part of the syllabus is completed in the daily targets along with the 12th standard syllabus.

Practise MCQ questions : Multiple Choice Questions will be there in the JEE Main examination. Solving MCQ’s per day will allow you to revise constantly will also provide a base for the extensive descriptive answers of class 12th board examinations. Keep solving a few MCQ questions every day for better preparation.

Practise with the Sample papers & join Mock test also to analyze your performance.

Dear Aspirant,

5 hours are enough if you study with more concentration and dedication.

See, quantity is not important , quality is important.

Read one hour no problem but read with concentration.

Read one topic until you don't get satisfaction.

Choose one topic and complete it properly.

Concentrate on quality not quantity.

Thankyou

Hope it helps

Hello Atharva,

There is a popular saying: Work smart not hard. If someone mugs up topics in 10 hrs each day and you learn the topics in depth by 5 hrs of study its you who will score higher in competitive exams like JEE. You may get 5 hrs of time each day but make a routine so that you can cover the topics and get a mock test once a week. Learn from your short comings and improve.

All the best!

Hey!

It solely depends on your capability that you many hours you have to spend per day. Some can learn easily with only 3-4 hours per day where as some might need to study upto 8 hours per day. You need to set up your schedule so that you don't get over burdened with the studies. You must find an hour of quick revision every day to grasp the concepts better.

I hope this helps you!

You should give atleast 2to3 hours for JEE main preparation. Mainly you have to focus on NCERT and your syllabus of class 11th . You give up your 2to 3 hors for solving multiple choice questions of JEE Main.  You should give 4  hour atleat on your studies of class 11th. You should do your preparation from class11th so that you have to face less pressure in future.

Begin by understanding the past exam trends. You can do this through available information online or analyzing at least past five years papers on your own.

This will help you gauge the most significant topics that are repeated year on year and the ones that are mostly ignored.

Understanding this trend would also help you to prepare a suitable customized IIT preparation timetable for class 11.

So, the next step would be preparation of a comprehensive timetable and abiding by it to the core.
