It's not about how much time you spent over books, Its about how smartly you prepare for your exams.
Which also counts in how much time you have to appear for the exam
If you are in 11th then study school stuff for 2 hours and do MCQs for 2 hours
If you are in 12th then study for boards for 4 hours and do one mock tests daily (3 hours)
If you have done with your boards and are waiting for the neet do 3 to 4 mock tests daily.
This is the matter of foremost priority that you should have a clear cut idea of where are you right now and where you want to see yourself after NEET.
If you are just a beginner and going for neet in 2019, then you should focus on the basic concepts along with solving plenty of question from previous year paper and understanding their concepts.
But if you are going for NEET 2018, you must be dedicated for the syllabus concerned.
For Biology, the more the time you spend solving MCQ and learning them by heart with accuracy, the more you score in NEET in BIOLOGY.
For Chemistry you should try building concept by visualizing how the different reactions are going in and the mechanism they followed.
For Physics, try making concept and memorizing the direct formulation so that time consumption decrease and accuracy increase.
Talking about time subject wise, 3 hours daily for each subject apart from coaching classes (if pursuing), would be sufficient now making sure that you must be fully dedicated and increase the time for study as the exam approaches.
