how many hours of a day does an assistant professor of sociology have a stay compulsorily in college in an autonomous degree college i.e vaze college in Mumbai

Hello Naresh,

Well usually the working hours are like normal that is from 9 to 5 in the evening but since most of the professors have their post doctoral work going on and research work going on, they might stay in the college or lab for as long as they wish and have work to do. But official hours usually is between 9 to 5.

Hello naresh,

According to UGC an assistant professor needs 20 hours of teaching including practicals in a week.and need to work for 40 hours overall.if anyone failing to follow this rule, they are more likely to be terminated from the job.
