Dear Gowtham,

It is is not enough to master the concepts of physics, chemistry and biology to crack JEE ,it is equally important to be a master of time management and motivate yourself.

Experts recommend that 5-6 hours of study daily or dedicating 42 hours of study per week apart from the time spent on coaching should be spent. Each one should design their own timetable according to their needs and stay motivated and stress free.

For better preparation you can try the careers 360 IIT/JEE 2020 online course which teaches the concepts smartly with AI coach, test series and concept videos. For more information about this visit: https://learn.careers360.com/

Hello Gowtham,

There is no such fixed hours of time which one can dedicate towards their goal. Most experts recommend that students study for at least six hours a day or 42 hours a week or so (excluding the time they spend on coaching classes) to prepare adequately for the JEE. But that recommendation is only useful if you can design a timetable that suits your specific needs.

For instance, Ashish Waikar AIR 7 (IIT JEE Advanced 2017) says,I neither had a fix time table nor number of study hours to study for JEE Main & Advanced Exam. I studied what I felt was required to be covered in a particular day. Some days, I would study for 3 hours and other days for 4, 10 or 12 hours. I used to do it according to myself. But on an average it should be around 6 hours every day. Plan it in a way that you have some aim to cover something and try to achieve your aim for the day.

So it totally depends on you that how much time you need to complete your day's target to strengthen your concepts .

Thank you !
