I am happy to answer your question. In India, as of January 2020, there are 65 Indian Council of Agricultural Research ( ICAR ) Institutions. Additionally for your information, there are 4 Deemed Universities, 14 National Research Centres.
There are around 75 universities available in India accepting ICAR scores.. hich include 64 State Agricultural , Veterinary, Horticultural and Fisheries Universities (SAUs), 4 ICAR -DUs - IARI, IVRI, NDRI, and CIFE, 3 Central Agricultural University
