Hii,Till last year, BAMS admissions in Karnataka were carried out through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Only from 2018 onwards will it be conducted through NEET.

Some states like Maharashtra and Kerala did conduct BAMS admissions in their state-run Ayurveda colleges on the basis of NEET scores last year but the scores vary heavily.

For example, candidates in Kerala were given admission to BAMS courses if they scored 390 or above in NEET 2017. However, candidates in Maharashtra required only 70 marks.

Hence it is very difficult to know what a good score will be for admissions in Karnataka since there is no precedent and comparisons cannot be drawn with any other state.

To be safe, aim for a minimum score of 200 to qualify for BAMS admissions in Karnataka.

Good Luck!!!
