Hello!

For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination must be minimum 40% instead of 50% for General candidates.

For good Government colleges the cutoff for BAMS through NEET is as high as 480+ while Normal government colleges have cutoff in the range of 450+ for General candidates.

For OBC - 420–440

For SC- 350 -380

For ST -300–350

All the best!

Hope this helps!

Indu, even for Ayush courses, the cut off for OBC Candidates is that they should have secured atleast 40 percentile of the top NEET score. That is the cut off. Now cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. And the State you belong to also matters because few States have higher cut offs than the rest of the States. On general, you will need atleast 400-500 marks for a seat in a Government Ayurvedic College.
