To get cse branch in NIT Trichy, you should atleast score above 250 or around 270.Getting above 200 enables you to get cse in one of the top 5 nits.To get 250 to 270 you should not only be thorough with ncert but also should have practised mock papers, previous papers and some problems in reference books.

Predicting safe scores are tough as cut off vary every year depending on a lot of factors like the number of candidates writing the exam, difficulty level of paper etc.
But, looking at the previous year cut off might give you an idea of how much you need to score to get admission into a reputed college,
