how many marks a candidate should score to get CSE seat in vit

VIT University is ranked as Top  most private university in India.

It is ranked at No.1 private university by NIRF MHRD Government of India 2018 because it has well equipped labs,infrastructure, faculty,facilities,administration, research and development too! to get admission in VIT University! in CSE in VIT university you need to score almost of above 95 marks For more details about rank cutoff you can go through following website link which may help you,

Now the counseling is divided into phases and these phases are on the basis of ranks.Now try to understand this:



Now the there are limited number of seat for each branch say 1000 in CSE Vellore campus. So what VIT does is It has categories like :



Category 1: fee around 1.98 lakhs seats 500Category 2: fee around 3.07 lakhs seats 250Category 3: fee around 3.95 lakhs seats 150Category 4: fee around 4.75 lakhs seats 100



Now they will call the first 20k students and mostly the top 7k students will take all the category 1 seats.Next they will open up category 2 seats and that two will get over by 15k.The category 3 and 4 are totally unpredictable but dont expect any CSE seats beyond 40k.



Same thing applies to IT,ME,EEE and all other branches.



So the point I wanna make is if you have money to spend on Education you can get the desired branch and desired campus. All it takes is money.



But if you dont have that you need to be in the top 10k or at least top 13k to get a decent branch in VIT at a price which is affordable by a middle class family.



So you need atleast 7k rank  as per previous cutoff



Aim for 5k rank.
